Goods Hearing

A conversation Goods and I had this week---
The scenario- I just got home from work, I was snacking on a few pistachios, Goods was across the living room (about 15 feet away) playing with the fire in the fireplace.

Goods: Did you just drop a pistachio?

Me: No, I don't think so...

Goods: I thought I heard one drop.

Me: Wait a minute, you can hear a pistachio drop on the carpeting, that far away but you can't hear me most of the time.

Typical man.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOODS!

His favorite carrot cake made in the heart pan his Mom use to make his birthday cakes in it, since his b-day was the day before Valentine's Day. I haven't had a chance to veganize the recipe so it's all his, as he was eating it off the serving plate this morning.

Happy Birthday Goods! You are my treasure at the end of the rainbow- come on, I had to say something corny - the photo screamed it!
